- What is Fixly?
- Fixly is a municipal operations platform. It combines an operations center, live map, work orders, a citizen reporting app, analytics and team management in one connected system.
- Is Fixly a citizen reporting app or an operations platform?
- Both — but operations first. Fixly is built for the city teams that run public services every day, with citizen reporting as one integrated channel feeding the same workflow.
- Which departments use Fixly?
- Public works, sanitation, parks, infrastructure, 311/contact center and city leadership. Any department that receives requests and dispatches crews can use it.
- Does Fixly integrate with our existing systems?
- Yes. Fixly offers REST APIs, webhooks and prebuilt integrations for common GIS, ERP and identity systems. See the Integrations page for the current list.

- What size of city is Fixly for?
- From small towns of a few thousand residents to mid-sized cities of several hundred thousand. The platform scales with you.
- How is Fixly priced?
- Pricing is per municipality, based on population and modules. Contact us for a quote tailored to your jurisdiction.
- Can we brand the citizen app with our city's identity?
- Yes. The citizen app uses your city name, logo and color palette. Residents see your brand, not ours.
- Do you offer onboarding and training?
- Every municipality gets dedicated onboarding, training for staff and a customer success manager throughout the first year.
Security

- Is Fixly GDPR compliant?
- Yes. Fixly is GDPR-ready by design: EU data residency, data minimization, role-based access, audit logs and a Data Processing Agreement signed on day one.
- Where is our data stored?
- EU data is stored in EU regions. We can discuss specific data residency requirements as part of procurement.
- How is access controlled?
- Role-based permissions per department, single sign-on (SSO) options, and full audit trails for every action.
- Do you have a security page?

Deployment
Deployment questions
- How long does deployment take?
- Typical municipalities are live within 4–8 weeks, including configuration, data import and staff training.
- Do we need to host anything ourselves?
- No. Fixly is a fully managed cloud platform. No servers to provision, no IT department required.
- Can we migrate existing reports and work orders?
- Yes. We provide a standard import for historical reports, assets and team data during onboarding.
- What if we already have a citizen reporting tool?
- Fixly can run alongside it during transition, or replace it entirely. Most cities consolidate to Fixly within the first months.

Citizen app questions
- Is the citizen app free for residents?
- Yes. The Fixly citizen app is free to download and use, on iOS and Android.
- Do residents need to create an account?
- They can report anonymously or create an account to track their reports and get notifications.
- What languages does the citizen app support?
- The app supports multiple languages and can be localized for your municipality on request.
- Can residents see the status of their report?
- Yes. Every reporter gets push notifications as the work order moves from received to assigned to resolved.
